SUPERIOR CBD OIL
Proudly Crafted In Wisconsin
Click to explore what makes our CBD different. A superior product is all dependent on its source. At BATCH, each formula was carefully crafted in-house to ensure you're getting the best of the best.
Ultra-Cold Ethanol Extraction
We exclusively extract hemp flower which is where the vast majority of cannabinoids and terpenes reside in the plant. These therapeutic compounds are selectively extracted using ultra-cold, food-grade ethanol. The ethanol is then removed through a series of vacuum-assisted distillations. This proprietary process was designed in-house by our team of chemical engineers.
EXTRACTION
Once Upon A Glacier
A rural town nestled next to the Black River and rolling hills home to generations of farmers. Neillsville is part of the Driftless Region, which escaped the flattening Ice Age glaciers thus retaining its bountiful soil. This fertile land paired with natural, spring water make it the perfect place to grow hemp.
GROW LOCATION
Superior Hemp Genetics
Umpqua is a hardy hemp strain that produces multiple pounds of flowers per plant. This, along with a stellar cannabiniod and terpene profile, make it the choice for full-spectrum hemp genetics. Umpqua's hemp bud odor dominates the BATCH lab much to the delight of walk-in customers and delivery drivers.

This is the best stuff I've ever found for arthritis pain. I use it on my hands, wrists, finger joints, hip joints, knees. It stops the pain. I even put it on before I do something that usually causes pain flare ups and it reduces or prevents the pain.

SAY HIFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What Are Topical CBD Products?
Topical CBD products are applied directly to the skin in an effort to alleviate aches and pains or even skin irritation depending on the formulation. Furthermore, topical CBD products are usually made with a carrier oil, such as jojoba oil, and a variety of other natural ingredients, such as beeswax and essential oils. These act as carriers for the CBD, allowing it to penetrate deeper into the skin and kickstart its beneficial effects faster.
Some balms also contain menthol, capsaicin or camphor, which can provide additional cooling or heating relief. CBD balms are designed to naturally soothe sore muscles and relieve pain either on or below the skin.
CBD At Work
A buzzword online and a commonly misunderstood compound, Cannabidiol or “CBD” is only one of 113+ cannabinoids found inside the hemp plant. Our hand-selected Umpqua hemp strain is especially high in CBD. This is what makes our hemp a cut above the rest.
CBD interacts with your Endocannabinoid System (ECS), which is responsible for regulating things like sleep, pain, stress, hunger, and more.
We have naturally occurring cannabinoids in our bodies, and CBD is a phyto-cannabinoid ("phyto" meaning from plants) that helps support that system that's already in place.
BATCH BRIEF - Everyone has one of these! Even our pets do, which is why dogs and cats can benefit from our CBD too.
How To Use BATCH CBD Balm
It is best to use CBD balm on clean and dry skin. If you are using the balm for pain relief, it is important to thoroughly massage the product into your skin until it has been fully absorbed. Massaging will help stimulate the absorption of the balm into the affected area and will help ensure that the active ingredients can target the source of discomfort and provide quick relief.
For our CBD Balm in particular, we recommend twisting up the balm stick until ½” is visible. Then, apply liberally to the affected area. Best results occur with repeated and daily use of this topical.
Full-Spectrum CBD Balm
All of our products use all-natural ingredients (most of them organic). The hemp extract that we create must be diluted with other oils (known as carrier oils) which assist the CBD becoming absorbed into your body. All ingredients are listed on our product descriptions as well as on the label.
The Full Spectrum Hemp Extract itself (found in all of our products) is what contains the CBD along with a plethora of other beneficial compounds. Minor cannabinoids (CBG, THC, CBC), terpenes, and a wide variety of other plant components make up the extract.
These other naturally occurring compounds are as follows: Amino acids, Carbohydrates, Vitamins (including B1, B2, B6, D), Fatty acids (including omega 3 & 6), Trace minerals (including iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, potassium), Beta-carotene, Chlorophyll, Flavonoids, Ketones, Nitrogenous compounds, Alkanes, Glycosides, Pigments, and Water.

How Does CBD Balm Work?
CBD muscle balm works by primarily targeting CB2 receptors in the body. They are part of your endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is a network of receptors and enzymes that are found throughout the human body. These receptors are responsible for regulating a variety of functions, including pain, immune response, mood, and appetite. The ECS is believed to play a role in maintaining homeostasis, or balance, within the body. When the body is in a state of homeostasis, it is able to function optimally.
Your ECS is made up of two types of receptors: CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are found primarily in the brain and central nervous system, while CB2 receptors are found in the periphery, or outside of the central nervous system. Both CB1 and CB2 receptors bind with cannabinoids, which are chemicals that occur naturally in the body as well as in plants such as cannabis. The most well-known cannabinoid is THC, which is responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis.
These receptors are what allow the body to process CBD efficiently which is why CBD topical products, like a balm, are absorbed directly into your skin and can target specific areas, making them much more effective than oral supplements.

CBD Balm FAQ
Is CBD Legal?
Yes! CBD is considered legal in most states due to the 2018 Farm Bill. This bill was introduced to specify how much hemp was deemed legal to use. Anything under 0.3% THC is considered legal to possess, sell, and consume.
However, any product over 0.3% THC is still considered to be marijuana and is federally illegal. It’s important to check your state guidelines to better understand how your state classifies CBD products in relation to the legal percentage of products containing THC.
If a CBD product is over 0.3% THC then it is classified as a Schedule I controlled substance according to the FDA. This means that anything over that amount is not federally legal, and the regulation goes state by state then.
How To Choose A Reputable CBD Balm
Below are the steps to consider before choosing a CBD balm that works for you.
Step 1: Choosing The Right CBD Muscle Balm For Your Needs
When selecting a CBD Muscle Balm, it is important to consider the CBD content and concentration, the size and shape of the container, how easy it is to access the CBD contents, and whether you are looking for heating or cooling relief. A CBD Balm Stick is an excellent choice for those looking for a handy size balm to take with them on the go.
Step 2: Ensure You Are Buying From A Reputable Source
It is important to buy from a reputable source when using CBD muscle balm in order to ensure the product's safety and quality. Check that a product has undergone third-party testing by an ISO 17025-compliant laboratory before purchasing.
Step 3: Read The Label And Follow The Instructions
It is important to read the label and follow the instructions when using a CBD muscle balm in order to ensure safe and effective use. The label will provide information about the ingredients, dosage, and suggested frequency of use for best results.
How Many Times A Day Should You Apply CBD Balm?
A few times a day should do the trick depending on your situation. However, it’s best to start slow, see how you react or like a CBD balm product and then go from there. If you experience any adverse reactions when using the product, it is recommended that you stop using the product and seek medical advice if necessary.
Can CBD Balm Be Detected In A Drug Test?
This is one of the most common questions that people ask BATCH. Can I fail a drug test from taking a full-spectrum CBD product? What if I accidentally take too much? Will I get high? You can see how paranoia stemming from online rumors and misconceptions can be a major obstacle to overcome before considering CBD as a viable path along your wellness journey.
The reality is that it’s very unlikely that you would ever fail a drug test due to CBD use, especially under normal usage circumstances. Although full-spectrum CBD products include trace amounts of THC, all reputable sellers ensure their products meet the federal guidelines of containing less than 0.3% THC by weight. This ensures that the product could never get you high. That being said, never buy CBD products from a brand or store that doesn’t offer lab results for their products.
Although it technically is possible to fail a drug test due to CBD, it is unlikely even under extreme circumstances (regularly consuming 100+ mg daily for multiple months). Nevertheless, at BATCH we would recommend not consuming CBD if you must pass a drug test.
Topical CBD products, like lotions or balms, are applied directly to your skin and are not ingested orally. With these, there is no risk of failing a drug test because the cannabinoids in the product do not enter your bloodstream. Rather, they stay in the two layers of skin closest to the surface: the epidermis and dermis. Despite not being absorbed into the users bloodstream, CBD topical products can provide targeted relief for a number of ailments.

How Long Does It Take For CBD Balm To Relieve Pain?
A CBD balm can take about 30 minutes to begin feeling the benefits. The fast absorption of CBD muscle balm is one of its main benefits. It is highly concentrated and effective due to its full-spectrum hemp extract, which allows it to quickly penetrate the skin.
The additional ingredients in the balm, such as lavender, jojoba oil, and tea tree oil provide further benefits for quick absorption. This fast absorption makes it ideal for pain relief as your body can quickly process CBD through CB2 receptors in the skin.
