Extraction

Ultra-Cold Ethanol Extraction

We exclusively extract hemp flower which is where the vast majority of cannabinoids and terpenes reside in the plant. These therapeutic compounds are selectively extracted using ultra-cold, food-grade ethanol. The ethanol is then removed through a series of vacuum-assisted distillations. This proprietary process was designed in-house by our team of chemical engineers.

Once Upon A Glacier

A rural town nestled next to the Black River and rolling hills home to generations of farmers. Neillsville is part of the Driftless Region, which escaped the flattening Ice Age glaciers thus retaining its bountiful soil. This fertile land paired with natural, spring water make it the perfect place to grow hemp.

My Mother in Law

I never liked my Mother in Law until I started taking your gummies and oil at Batch. Now I like her. I don’t love her you understand, but I like her.

Dream 3000 is a miracle!

It works! I’m in my 70’s and have struggled with sleep problems and its horrible effects for years. My biggest problem was waking up at 1:00 a.m. and trying to go back to sleep. I’d doze a while but within an hour I’d be awake again sometimes for hours. Every night. I tried otc preparations, prescriptions, nothing worked for long or else I had hangovers. I saw Batch on the internet, researched it and ordered Sleep 3000. It’s worth every penny. The first night I took the 0.5 dose, kept it under my tongue for several minutes before swallowing, watched a TV show as usual and then proceeded to sleep for 9 hours straight! 9 hours! Unheard of! My husband and I were in disbelief. It’s been 2 weeks and every night has been a miracle of solid sleep. I am even dreaming! Haven’t done much of that for a long time. Thank you, Batch!! You have literally changed my life. My husband also thanks you. My disposition has improved tremendously. Not sure if it’s psychological, but my arthritis pain seems to have improved whether from getting sleep or the Dream. Not sure, but I’ll take it!

I needed something stronger!

I bought this based on another review, this may work great for some for sleep, but I ended up getting CBD with CBN extra strength which worked much better. .

Dream

This seems to work pretty good for us. I’m not a fan of the taste, but my husband doesn’t mind it. But in spite of that, we both use it to get us back to sleep when we wake up in the middle of the night. Seems to work fairly well for that most of the time.

What Is CBD Oil?

CBD oil, short for cannabidiol oil, is a natural substance derived from the cannabis plant. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is another well-known compound found in cannabis, CBD does not produce a "high" or psychoactive effect. This makes it an attractive option for those seeking the potential therapeutic benefits of cannabis without the mind-altering effects.

What Are The Benefits Of Using CBD Oil For Sleep?

Using CBD oil for sleep can offer several benefits, particularly for those who struggle with sleep disruptions or disorders. Here are some of the key advantages:

What Are Some Potential Side Effects And Considerations?

While CBD oil is generally considered safe, it's important to be aware of potential side effects and other considerations before incorporating it into your routine. Some individuals may experience mild side effects, including:

Drowsiness

While the sedative effects of CBD are beneficial for promoting sleep, they can become a drawback if CBD is taken during the day or in large doses. This side effect might impact daily activities that require alertness and concentration, making it essential to adjust the timing and dosage according to individual needs and lifestyle.

Dry Mouth

A frequent side effect experienced by users of CBD is dry mouth, scientifically known as xerostomia. This occurs because CBD can influence the salivary glands, reducing saliva production. To alleviate this discomfort, it is advisable to increase water intake throughout the day and use hydrating mouth rinses if necessary.

Lightheadedness

Some individuals may experience lightheadedness or a slight drop in blood pressure shortly after taking CBD. This can generally be managed by adjusting the dosage or taking the CBD oil with food. However, those with pre-existing blood pressure conditions should consult with a healthcare provider to ensure safe use.

Interactions With Other Medications

CBD has the potential to interact with various medications by affecting the way the body metabolizes these substances, particularly those processed by the liver. Such interactions can alter the effectiveness of other drugs, either increasing or decreasing their potency. Therefore, discussing the use of CBD with a healthcare provider is crucial, especially for those taking prescription medications like blood thinners or certain types of antidepressants.

What Are The Differences Of CBD Oil With Other Sleep Aids?

When considering CBD oil for sleep, it's useful to compare it with other common sleep aids to understand its unique benefits and limitations:

Natural vs. Pharmaceutical: CBD oil is derived from the cannabis plant, making it a natural alternative to synthetic drugs. Many people prefer CBD because it generally does not lead to dependency or severe side effects, which are common concerns with prescription sleep medications. CBD's natural origin also appeals to those seeking treatments that align with holistic health philosophies, providing a gentler approach to sleep management.

Effectiveness: CBD oil is effective for managing mild to moderate sleep disturbances and is particularly beneficial for its stress-reducing and sleep-cycle regulating properties. However, for severe insomnia or more complex sleep disorders, prescription medications, which are specifically designed to target these issues, might be more effective. CBD works well for people whose sleep problems are exacerbated by anxiety or minor pain but may not be sufficient for those with clinically significant sleep disorders.

Ease of Use: CBD is widely accessible and legal in many areas, available over the counter in various forms like oils, capsules, and edibles. This accessibility makes it easier for individuals to try CBD without the need for a doctor's prescription or diagnosis, unlike many prescription sleep aids that require a medical assessment and ongoing supervision.

Side Effects: Common sleep medications often come with a range of side effects such as grogginess, dizziness, and the potential for addiction. In contrast, CBD's side effects are generally mild and manageable, including dry mouth, slight drowsiness at higher doses, and temporary changes in appetite or mood. These side effects are less intrusive, making CBD a preferable option for those concerned about the adverse effects of traditional sleep drugs.

Interactions: While CBD is relatively safe, it can interact with other medications by affecting how the body metabolizes these substances. This interaction potential is particularly important for individuals taking medications such as blood thinners or certain anti-seizure drugs. However, this risk is generally lower compared to many over-the-counter sleep aids, which can also interact with other medications but are often taken without professional supervision.

These detailed comparisons help to clarify the positions of CBD oil relative to other sleep aids, highlighting its benefits and considerations for potential users.

What Is The Science Behind CBD Oil And Sleep?

The scientific exploration into how CBD oil aids sleep involves understanding its interaction with the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is integral in regulating sleep, mood, appetite, and pain sensation. Here’s how CBD contributes to better sleep:
